Bitcoin Recovery Lacks One Key Ingredient, Glassnode Warns
Bitcoin has clawed its way back toward $70,000 after a sharp slide to roughly $67,000, but Glassnode says the rebound still lacks the kind of demand profile needed to turn stabilization into a more durable recovery. In its latest weekly report from March 25, titled Awaiting Liquidity, the on-chain analytics firm argued that several pressure points have eased at once, including sell-side intensity, ETF outflows and dealer-driven market imbalances. Bitcoin is showing tentative signs of stabilization after its pullback from $74,000, but Glassnode says the recovery still lacks the ingredients of a decisive bullish turn. In its March 9 Weekly Market Pulse, the analytics firm described a market that is improving at the margins even as spot participation, capital flows and broader conviction remain subdued. With several on-chain metrics for Bitcoin (BTC) still in a bearish range, a continuation of the recent price recovery will require increased demand and fees spent over the network, says Glassnode. The assessment of mediocre market growth over the past week came from blockchain analysis firm Glassnode in its latest The Week On Chain report on August 1.In it, analysts pointed to sideways growth in transactional demand, active Bitcoin....
